Curly Girl Flowers is based in Arnold, Nottingham. I supply and arrange flowers in the Nottinghamshire area.
I make lovely bouquets and arrangements that I sell at craft fairs, car boot sales and other events. I also have made loads of flowers for my friends and family for weddings, christenings and the like. In my blog I share some tips and advice on choosing and arranging flowers, and I hope that you find it useful.
Have you ever been in a job you are good at, but deep down inside, you know you are meant to be doing something else? That used to be me. And it wasn’t until I read Find Your Strongest Life by Marcus Buckingham (a must read by the way!), that I realized the missing piece. It was passion. Now I’m not talking about the kind of passion one has for chocolate (even though I can devour a box of Turtles in five seconds). I’m talking about passion that has you jumping out of bed every morning because that’s how much you love your work. Knowing this was missing for me, I took a trip down memory lane and discovered that passion had always been there, it was just in the form of a flower.
So I made the bold decision to leave my job, return to school and graduate from the Canadian Institute of Floral Design. I then worked for a number of floral shops to gain experience in the industry, and with the desire to manage my own business, CurlyGirl Flowers was born.
It didn’t take long, however, for my creativity to expand into designing tables, with essentials like linens, charger plates, chair covers, cutlery, candlelights so it was only natural to add Tablescape Design under the CurlyGirl Flowers umbrella.
Our team focuses on rich colours, unique textures and designing with style, heart and flare. Our attention to detail has shaped our reputation for quality and our fun and friendly customer service brings enthusiasm and joy to your planning experience.
We look forward to bringing your floral and tablescape designs to life :o)
